Sending Screen Captures to your Support Technician

Sometimes it is helpful to show your support technician the cause of your concern visually - especially when the cause is unclear to you. A picture can be worth a thousand words. At times like capturing the screen to an image (a 'screen shot' or 'screen capture') is invaluable.

The Windows system allows you to accomplish this by clicking the 'PrtScn' or "Print Screen" button. This captures the screen to a buffer just like clicking the 'Control C' button on highlighted text. You can then open Windows Paint and click the 'Control V' button to create an image.

There are other tools which make this process even easier. Here are a few:

These install as a virtual printer. When you see something that you want supported, print the page and PDF file and attach it to your issue.
