General Shipping Configuration in CRE Loaded Cart

Go to Admin => Configuration => Shipping/Packaging to configure your shipping settings as follows:

Shipping/Packaging: Country of Origin � Enter the country from which your orders are shipped. This information is used to determine shipping charges.; Postal Code � Enter the postal code from which your orders are shipped. This information is used to determine shipping charges.; Maximum Package Weight � Enter the maximum weight of any single package you will ship. This is usually determined by the carrier (e.g., UPS or FedEx).; Package Tare Weight � Enter the average weight of packing material for a small to medium package. This information is used to determine shipping charges. Enter only the value, without units. US ((1 divided by 16) x # of oz); Percentage Increase for Larger Packages � Enter the percentage by which to increase Package Tare Weight for a large package. This information is used to determine shipping charges. Enter only the value, without a percent sign (%).; Allow Free Shipping � Select "True" to allow free shipping. (Note: CRE Loaded 6.3 integrates this setting into the Free Shipping! module in the Modules => Shipping menu.); Free Shipping For Orders Over � Enter the minimum order value necessary to qualify for free shipping. (Note: CRE Loaded 6.3 integrates this setting into the Free Shipping! module in the Modules => Shipping menu.); Provide Free Shipping For Orders Made � Select whether you allow free shipping only for domestic orders, only for international orders, or for both. (Note: CRE Loaded 6.3 integrates this setting into the Free Shipping! module in the Modules => Shipping menu.); Shipping Estimator � Select "True" to display the estimated shipping charges in the shopping cart. Note: If you select false, customers will still be able to view estimated shipping charges by clicking a pop-up button.; Skip Shipping Page � Select "No" to always display the shipping page. Select "Always" to never display the shipping page. Select "If Weight = 0" to skip shipping page only when the weight of the order is zero (i.e., if the customer has ordered only downloadable products). (Note: This feature is available only in CRE Loaded 6.3)

Cre Loaded Modules/Shipping HowTo

Unless you sell only downloadable products, you will have to ship merchandise to your customers. CRE Loaded uses shipping modules to automatically figure the cost of shipping and add this amount to the customer's order total. If you use more than one shipment method, you can display the cost of each and let your customers choose the method they prefer.

You can install each shipping module separately, so that only the shipping methods you use will appear in your store. The complete list of pre-installed shipping modules is found at Admin => Modules => Shipping.

If you wish to use more than one shipping module, it is best to install only one at a time and test it thoroughly before installing another.

Many shipping modules let you limit their use to certain zones -- usually countries. You must enter the 2-digit ISO code in these fields. These codes can be found at http://www.iso.org/iso/country_codes/iso_3166_code_lists/english_country_names_and_code_elements.htm

To install a shipping module, select it, click "Install," then click "Edit" to enter the required information. When you are finished with the set up, click "Update."

Note: You must have weights entered for your products in order to use any shipping modules. If there is no weight, CRE Loaded assumes the products are downloads, and will only assign "Free Shipping" to the order even if you have other shipping modules installed. See "Creating Your Catalog, Section 2.1" for information on adding product weights.

Canada Post Parcel Service: Use this module to ship parcels up to 2m long and with a girth not exceeding 3m. To use this module you must first open a business account with Canada Post.; Enable Canada Post Shipping: Set this value to "True" to enable the module.; Enter Canada Post Server IP: Enter the IP address provided for your Canada Post business account.; Enter Canada Post Server Port: Enter the server port provided for your Canada Post business account.; Enter Selected Language(optional): Enter "en" to use English or "fr" to use French as the default language.; Enter Your Canada Post Customer ID: Enter the Customer ID for your Canada Post business account.; Enter Turn-Around Time(optional): Enter the desired turn-around time in hours.; Tax Class: Select the tax class for the shipping fee (not the merchandise).; Shipping Zone: If you have previously set up zones, selecting a zone here will display this shipping module only to those customers within that zone. Flat Rate Use this module to charge a single flat rate for shipping on all orders regardless of the actual shipping costs.: Enable Flat Rate Shipping: Set this value to "True" to enable the module.; Flat Rate Shipping Cost: Enter the amount of the flat-rate shipping charge.; Flat Rate Tax Class: Select the tax class for the shipping fee (not the merchandise).; Shipping Zone: If you have previously set up zones, selecting a zone here will display this shipping module only to those customers within that zone. Per Item Use this module to charge a set fee per item shipped (e.g., $2.50 for one item, $5 for two items, etc.).: Enable Per Item Shipping: Set this value to "True" to enable the module.; Per Item Shipping Cost: Enter the shipping cost of one item. This value will be multiplied by the number of items in an order that uses this shipping method.; Per Item Shipping Handling Fee: Enter any handling fee charged for this shipping method.; Per Item Shipping Tax Class: Select the tax class for the shipping fee (not the merchandise).; Shipping Zone: If you have previously set up zones, selecting a zone here will display this shipping module only to those customers within that zone. Percent Rate Use this module to charge a percentage of the order total as a shipping fee.: Enable Percent Shipping: Set this value to "True" to enable the module.; Percentage Rate: Enter the percentage to charge, in decimal format (.01 to .99); Charge Flat Rate for Orders Under: If you want to charge a flat rate instead of a percentage for shipping orders under a certain value, enter that value here.; Flat Rate Shipping Fee: Enter the amount of the flat-rate shipping fee.; Percent Rate Tax Class: Select the tax class for the shipping fee (not the merchandise).

Royal Mail Registered This module is for shipping within the UK. Table Rate Table Rate Shipping lets you charge a variable shipping fee based on the total cost or weight of an order.: Enable Table Method: Select "True" to enable this module.; Table Method Shipping Table: The shipping cost is based on the total cost or weight of items (see Table Method below). United Parcel Service Advanced (CRE Loaded 6.3 only) This module provides advanced settings for your UPS account, including Dimensional Weight support. You will need to have registered an account with UPS to use this module.: Enable UPS Shipping: Set this value to "True" to enable the module.; UPS Rates Access Key: Enter the XML rates access key provided to you by UPS.; UPS Rates Username: Enter your UPS Services account username.; UPS Rates Password: Enter your UPS Services account password.; UPS Pickup Method: Select the method you typically use to deliver packages to UPS. This setting is used only for shipments originating in the U.S.; Packaging Type: Select the packaging type you typically use for UPS packages.; Customer Classification Code: Select your UPS customer classification: 01 = You bill to a UPS account and have a daily UPS pickup, 03 = You bill to a UPS account but do not have a daily pickup, 04 = You ship from a retail outlet (only used for shipments originating in the U.S.).; Shipping Origin: Select the region from which you ship packages.; Origin City: Enter the name of the city from which you ship packages.; Origin State/Province: Enter the two-letter code for the state or province from which you ship packages.; Origin Country: Enter the two-letter code for the country from which you ship packages.; Origin ZIP/Postal Code: Enter the postal code from which you ship packages.; Quote Type: Select whether you typically ship orders for delivery to residential or to commercial addresses.; Negotiated Rates: Select "True" if you receive discounted rates from UPS and want to automatically receive shipping quotes based on this negotiated rate. Negotiated Rates (above) must be set to "False" in order to use this setting.; Handling Type: If you charge a handling fee for UPS shipments, select whether that fee is a flat fee or a percentage of the order total.; Handling Fee: Enter the amount or percentage of any handling fee you charge for shipping by UPS.; Enable Insurance: Select "True" to insure packages shipped by UPS.; UPS Currency Code: Enter the three-letter code for the currency in the country from which you ship packages.; Tax Class: Select the tax class for the shipping fee (not the merchandise).; Shipping Zone: If you have previously set up zones, selecting a zone here will display this shipping module only to those customers within that zone. This is used primarily to limit use of the shipping module to certain countries.; Sort Order of Display: Sort order lets you set the order in which your payment types are displayed, so that your preferred method will always be shown first. Numbers are displayed lowest to highest.; Disallowed Shipping Methods: Select the UPS delivery services you do not offer.; Shipping Delay: Enter the number of days it takes you, on average, to ship an order once it is received. This value is used to provide an estimated arrival date for your customers' orders.; Email UPS Errors: Select "Yes" to receive UPS error notifications by email.; Time in Transit View Type: Select "Not" if you do not wish to display estimated time in transit to your customers. Select "Raw" to display basic time in transit. Select "Detailed" to display detailed time in transit information.; Display Weight: Select "True" to display the number of packages and the package weight.; Dimensions Support: Select "No" if you do not use UPS Dimensional Weight. Select "Ready-to-ship only" if you use UPS Dimensional Weight only for shipments in standard UPS-provided packaging. Select "With product dimensions" to calculate UPS Dimensional Weight shipping based on individual package dimensions. United States Postal Service You will need to register for a USPS account to use this module. Note that you must use pounds and ounces as the weight measure for your products if you use this module.: Enable USPS Shipping: Select "True" to enable this module.; Enter the USPS User ID: Enter the User ID for your USPS account.; Enter the USPS Password: Enter the password for your USPS account.; Which server to use: Select "test" while setting up this Module or to run debug testing. You must select "Production" before you make this Shipping Module live on your site.; Create debug response file: Select "True" if you want to create a debug file to review test responses from USPS.; Handling Fee: If you charge a handling fee for this shipping method, enter the amount here.; Tax Class: Select the tax class for the shipping fee (not the merchandise).; Shipping Zone: If you have previously set up zones, selecting a zone here will display this shipping module only to those customers within that zone. World Zone Rates This module lets you set up three separate shipping zones (for instance, state, national, and international).
